Hey lovelies and a happy Friday to you all!
Being back to work has been great so the photos are just a little more sparse than usual! Next weeks post I'm sure will be even more back to the usual case of loads of photos in a post. Poor you is all I say haha I probably am a torture when it comes to photos and my family an friends used to laugh at me but they have realised now that it is something I love.
Back To Porridge
Being back to work properly is strange and great. I definitely missed all the girls and I missed all of my customers. When I got back from London my manager was just leaving for a weeks holiday so I had some paperwork to get sorted out. I don't mind paperwork at all and as long as I am organised I can get it done quickly and properly. Its good to have responsibilities in work and it is all about the experience I say.
My Little Bunny Rabbit
I have definitely missed this little one. He is still mad as a hatter and my daddy was looking after him. Daddy is great with him and secretly he loves having a rabbit around the house. Everyone thinks daddy is a big hard man but I always wind him up and compare him to dippy egg - hard on the outside and soft in the middle :) Even though the rabbit is so friendly he always tends to just jump around his run but I actually was surprised when I got some kisses off him! Shock to the system but it was absolutely hilarious!
While I was away in London I was sure that when I came back to my first group meeting, I would have put some weight on. I stayed the same as I was from before I left and I was absolutely delighted with myself. It made me more determined about the whole programme. Even though there can be weeks that I really don't feel like I am doing great I can always pick myself back up and get on with my SW programme. Because I was proud of myself, I therefore treated myself to new slippers - or course they are rabbits- and the newest SW magazine.
I recently had got a few new products from Superdrug online (I shall do a little haul very soon) and I decided to pick up this night serum from Pearl Drops. I was so intrigued by this to see would it actually work and at £3.49 I thought why not. I will review this soon as I want to give it a good chance to see if it works and also, I kind of forgot about it so I am going to see if it really does work properly now. I am sticking to my guns on this one!
Task - Emptying My Purse
On Saturday night I thought it was about time that I emptied my purse and transferred everything over to my other new one that I had got on the Thursday. I always have so much junk in my purse so it was in good need of a clear out anyways. I think even Pepe realised how much junk I have in my purse- although in saying that, all the cards I have in my purse..I do need! He wasn't impressed that I wouldn't let him inside my new bag either, he must like the smell of it. He doesn't climb in any other ones except for my Pauls Boutique I got 3 years ago. For those of you who were wondering - I do not carry him around in my bag, this only happens in the house and I have enough stuff in my bag to carry about never mind a puppy.
Broadway imPress Nails - Rated R
Myself and my best friend Joanne decided to have a little girlie day on the Thursday and headed in to town were we found ourselves in Boots being giggly girls for the silliest of reasons. We took advantage of the 3 for 2 offer that was on and I picked up these press on nails. I thought "meh sure just give them a go, your nails are in a bad state at the minute". Oh my god these are fab! I just removed them today and I loved them. Now in saying that, they are press on nails and are supposed to last one week if applied properly. I did apply mine properly but after a couple of days I decided to stick them down with some glue just to make them feel a bit more secure. I ordered myself two more packs from Superdrug the other day and can't wait to wear them! They are definitely a great answer to a quick mani and they would be perfect for going on holidays or if you need a quick fix pronto.
As I said, very little happening with me through the last week but I am sure that I will have more of a busy week in my next post. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and are good! Don't forget you can find me over on Bloglovin or on Instagram - @rachael_atltx!
