COMING SOON; New Visionnaire Advanced Multi Correcting Cream

NB. I have been very absent from the blog due to my granda passing away. I needed some time and things happen that take you away from your blogging but it had to be done.
I will get back in to things slowly but surely so please bare with me. I had this post done and ready to post monday buy then didnt post it only until now. Thanks everyone.

Hello all my lovelies,

I have an exciting new product to tell you all about. On the 30th April, Lancôme are launching their new Visionnaire Advanced Multi-Correcting Cream*. This amazing cream is a new addition to the Visionnaire family. In 2011 the Visionnaire Serum was launched and in 2013, Lancôme expanded the family even further with its launch of Visionnaire Yeux and the Visionnaire Blur.

Who is it for?
This cream is for someone who is concerned with visible wrinkles, dullness and lack of plumpness in their skin. Especially for someone who is looking for the latest technology and fast results.

What is known of the Visionnaire Cream?
Visionnaire Cream works equally as well on wrinkles, radiance of the skin and the plumpness of the skin within 4 weeks. The formula of the Visionnaire Cream is a balanced formula to help achieve these results.

What does the Visionnaire Cream do?
Like the Visionnaire Serum, the Visionnaire Cream contains LR 2412 with a 2% concentration, which has perfect affinity with the skin, allowing it to penetrate the deepest layers of the skin and triggering what is known as a repairing action. With the well known addition of Hyaluronic Acid, this attracts water immediately giving a hydrating and plumping effect to the skin. The advanced cream also preserves the conllagen network in the skin for less wrinkles and offers a balance correcting action on the skin.

The texture;
The texture of this cream is just something that I absolutely love and made me super excited about the cream. It has a smooth, silky texture that melts in to your skin leaving it comfortable and illuminated. I would near say that it is a mixture between a cream and a balm which I love!

I really love this cream at the minute although I have only started using it so I shall wait a couple of weeks and see how I get on with it. I love the texture of the cream - so light, comfortable, cooling and this adds to the cream actually sinking in very quickly in to the skin (which you can see in the two bottom pictures) meaning that you can carry on with the rest of your make up routine. Another thing that I love about this cream is that you can use it both day and night and along with your Visionnaire serum you will definitely get the best benefits out of your cream, serum and skin!

The launch of this cream is 30th April, but you might be able to pick up a sample around the 16th April and definitely book in for a follow up appointment with your nearest counter to have a chat with the girls and guys about your progress and how you found the cream itself.

I really do think that this will become a staple in a lot of womens skin care routines. Let me know if any of you do try it. I would love to hear your stories.

* This product was a gifted to me from my company for new product launches

Save The Blow Dry | Is This Really The Queen of All Shower Caps?

So let me ask this question..has anyone ever had their hair done and the next day jump in the shower with your shower cap on or without one and your hair is ruined? Just me..? I didn't think so!
Well girlies, I think I might have got the solution for you right here!

Did you know on average that we actually spend over two hours a week blow drying and styling our hair? Well either did I until I really thought about it. It could take me between 30-40mins blow drying my hair and that would be 2/3 times a week because I tend to paw at my hair too much.

That is when this little beauty fell in to my hands and I was so excited I couldn't wait to get it on my head! After just getting my hair done on Saturday afternoon, I got up on Sunday and jumped in to the shower before work, of course whipping on my cute Save The Blow Dry Shower Cap* in the brand new turquoise retro design.
Save The Blow Dry created a unique and amazing shower cap that does what it says on the tin (or packaging in this case). It does just that and more by saving your complete style.

The shower cap is a combination of a lovely waterproof design (which is phalate free might I add) with an internal layer of super absorbent soft micro-weave towelling which allows that humidity and condensation we all hate to be ZAPPED AWAY! This is just absolutely great because it means that your hair is left dry and bouncy as it was before you got in to your shower or bath.

I really love the fact that the towelling inside the shower cap clings to your hair and keeps it nice and shaped instead of those horrid caps that can just flatten your hair anyway even when they aren't supposed to! This little delight banished any static forming in my hair and the elastic in the cap is really comfortable on your head but still keeps those little stray hairs from popping out.

Another great thing about this shower cap is that it has a dual usage benefit. I love using hair treatments but I always tend to knock my head on something whether its the sofa or whatever I am wearing and it can be a nightmare - not anymore my friends s you can turn this amazing cap inside out (so the towelling doesn't get wet and yuckie from the hair treatment) and pop it on over my hair and - voila - I can enjoy and let my hair treatment do the work on my hair more effectively.

My hair is really long and is thick enough but I had no problem keeping this on. I even felt the cap on my head a few times in he shower to make sure it wasn't coming off my head in any way and it didn't. I couldn't believe it! I kept it on while I moisturised and was ready to start my make up. This is all thanks to the amazing elasticated rim on the shower cap. The elastic is brilliant as I didn't find it too tight or too loose.

I really love this cap and the fact that it is so amazing is beyond words.. My hair has never been so dry coming out of a shower cap.

You can purchase the Save The Blow Dry Shower Caps from here and for £14.95 I really and truely think they are an absolute steal for such a high qualty product especailly if you take in to account how much you would spend on blowdrys and hours of styling and the fraction of your electric bills.

Boots Goodies | 3 for 2

Happy Friday my lovelies!

Last week myself and my lovely friend Rebecca took a wee trip over to the shopping centre after I had gotten my back massage (it was bliss with a slight bit of pain but that is normal). We actually weren't for going to Boots, we were heading to Sally's to get me a Tangle Teezer, but they had none in stock and I was filling Rebecca in on some lovely 3 for 2 offerings from Boots.
So on to the damage shall we?!

First thing I grabbed was a pack of these Glycerin Throat Pastilles for my throat. i never realised how dear strepsils were and that day I was not for paying near £4.00 or so for them. So I decided on these as Boots' version..only something I didn't realise until after eating them....they have nothing in it to help soothe my throat. it's like eating Fruit Pastilles from Rowntrees. Bad call Rachael.

We found ourselves at the little travel essentials section and usually I don't pay any heed to this section but as Rebecca was having a look obviously I was going to end up picking up something! I picked up Soap & Glory Hand Maid Hand Cleansing Gel, Soap & Glory Flake Away and Sanctuary Spa Body Moisture Spray.

I have seen this on so many peoples blogs, especially in "What's In My Bag" posts. I have recently loved having an anti bacterial gel in my bag, especially when I have any of the kids with me and it is handy to apply on their hands. I always hear about the smell of this but when I picked it up the Soap & Glory Hand Maid Hand Cleansing Gel (£2.50 for travel - 3 for 2 on travel minis) I didn't even smell it until well after I photographed for this post and  I now have to admit that I am now addicted! I will forever have one of these in my bag for as long as they are selling them. Delicious! I actually have been using it on my counter in work as I don't exactly like the smell of the antibacterial gel in work. It actually reminds me of the smell of vodka and 7up and I have been using this since I bought it and have had a number of people remark on the smell. One of the supervisors in work actually thought I had just sprayed perfume but when I say it is strong it isn't overpowering.

This as the first thing I spotted to buy in the travel essentials section. I remember having a pot of this in a big set my Auntie and Uncle got me one year for Christmas full of Soap & Glory goodies and this was my most favourite thing out of the whole box so I just had to have a tub of it. With the  Soap & Glory Flake Away (£2.50 for travel - 3 for 2 on travel minis) I only use a small amount every time so I think I will definitely be getting another one for going away on holidays. It is great in smell and in terms of texture as it is so exfoliating but not rough on your skin. It leaves your skin so smooth when you are out of the shower. Amazing!

The last thing I picked up in the travel essentials section was this Sanctuary Spa Body Moisture Spray (£2.50 for travel - 3 for 2 on travel minis). To be honest I never usually like oils or lotions as some of them just take forever to soak in but I picked this one up because I couldn't find anything else I wanted. I tried this one night and I couldn't believe how quick it soaked in and the fact it wasn't overly greasy and, well yeah I just thought it was lovely.

I needed to get some new body washes and I have realised recently that i can no longer use Radox shower gels so I decided to pick up some Dove as it is so gentle on my skin and they are all so lovely. They were on special 2 for £3. I picked up the Dove Pomegranate and Lemon Verbana Body Wash as I have had the deodorant and loved the smell of it. After smelling the Dove Plum and Sakura Blossom Body Wash I knew I had to have it as well. Such lovely scents and these body washes are so nourishing and help moisturise my skin so well.

Me and dry shampoo just have not been getting on well lately and I look like I am an old woman at times when I have put it in. No matter how vigourously I have rubeed it in it doesnt help at all. This was when someone then told me about these Batiste Hint of Colour Dry Shampoo. I picked up the Dark & Deep Brown and the Medium & Brunette as I was unsure what colour I would need to put in my hair as it is red in colour. I am still currently testing them though so I will give my feed back very soon.

The last thing (or things) I picked up was a repurchase. I had 2 voucher for No7 MakeUp and Skincare so I decided to pick up two of the No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser and get them in two transactions. I got them for £4.95 from using my vouchers. Perfect! They are now in my bathroom cupboard ready to be used when I need them. I love how they come with a muslin cloth and are so big. 200ml for £4.95 - you really can't beat that deal!

Did anybody else give in to Boots 3 for 2?
